If you take a look at Angels Landing, you’ll see that I really can’t 
pack much radio gear to operate up top. So, my plan is to use my Elecraft KX2 as an HT.
I’ll put a few MFJ Telescopic antennas on 18.089, 14.061 and 10.116
My plan is to hike up to the landing and operate. I hope to start on Wednesday, September 8th, around 1500-1600utc.- maybe earlier. If you work me, please post me.
We will will be at Zion NP starting September
7 and 8. We will operate from numerous parts of the park.

PAARC will be operating from the Fly-in Breakfast on Sunday, Sept. 11, from 8 am to 12 noon at Heritage Field airport in Limerick. Parking is free. Pancakes, eggs, ham, juice and coffee for $8 per adult, $5 for kids. Antique, modern, experimental and war planes on display, plus a car show. Airplane and helicopter rides. PAARC will offer an amateur radio license exam session on Friday, Sept. 2, at 5:00 pm at St. James Lutheran Church, 93 Kugler Rd., (intersection of Swamp Pike & Kugler Rd.) Limerick, PA 19468. Go for your license or try for an upgrade. Pre-register for the test by sending an email request to VETesting@PAARC.NET. All test sessions administered by examiners accredited by the ARRL.
