Nominations for 2020 PAARC Board of Directors
PAARC is seeking nominations for the following positions in 2020 at the Friday, November 1st 2019 meeting. Only current members may vote. Please consider running for a position on the board. You can help steer the ship in 2020 and beyond. It’s fun being on the board and giving back to a wonderful club and hobby!
- Officers – each with a one year term: President, Vice President. Secretary, Treasurer
- Executive board – three year term: one position open
Current members may also send their nomination in via email to secretary at paarc dot net by Oct. 31st.
The Election will be held at December 6th meeting. Descriptions of duties are in the PAARC Bylaws.

October 19-21, 2019PHILADELPHIA SCOUTING FESTIVAL- (Jamboree on the Air at Lighthouse Field )
Once again, the Education Alliance for Amateur Radio (EAAR) will participate in the Philadelphia Scouting Festival at Lighthouse Field in Philadelphia. On October 19th, EAAR will have a solar power radio station station set up (Big Green) for both will Jamboree on the Air and the radio merit badge. The 63rd PA QSO Party is October 12 & 13, 2019, always the 2nd full weekend in October. The 2019 Bonus Station operation is the Somerset County ARC, in honor of their 60th anniversary. The club will be operating under the callsign K3SMT from Somerset County. See https://paqso.org/index.html.
