May 1: Alaskan Trip Talk with KB3SBC

Please join us on Friday, May 1st at 7:00 pm for a talk by Walt Skavinsky, KB3SBC on his trip to Alaska last year. There will be lots of tips and photos. We meet at St. James Lutheran Church, 93 Kugler Rd., Limerick, PA. Open to all. Refreshments served.  

If there is enough interest there will be a license exam prior to the meeting. Visit the License Exams page learn how to sign up. Sorry, no walk-ins. 

Our next gathering will be on June 5th at 7:00 pm where we will enjoy an ice cream social. This is the last gathering/meeting before the summer break during July and August. 

There will not be an exam session in June, July or August. 

Jan. 2: AM & FM Broadcasting, part 2

On January 2nd at 7:00 pm, join us for part 2 of the AM and FM broadcasting presentation by Vic Melis, KB3WXX, along with a trip down memory lane of memorable broadcasts. Location: St. James Lutheran Church, 93 Kugler Rd., Limerick, PA. All are welcome. Refreshments served. Happy New Year!  

 

 

Dec. 5: Member Night

PAARC will have an evening to celebrate our members on Friday, December 5, at 7:00 pm at St. James Lutheran Church in Limerick, PA. Members will give brief presentations on topics of interest, and we will thank all who helped make 2025 another great year for the club. The 2026 PAARc Board will be announced at this meeting, and 2026 membership renewals will be accepted by Melody, KB3SJR at this meeting. A variety of seasonal refreshments will be served. Please join us!

Sept. 5: SKYWARN Training with WX3I

We welcome members and friends to join us on Friday, Sept. 5th for SKYWARN training at 7:00 pm, with Lou Ruh, WX3I. We meet at St. James Lutheran Church, 93 Kugler Rd. (Swamp Pike and Kugler Rd.) in Limerick, PA. This training will empower you to become a weather spotter for the National Weather Service. Refreshments will be served.
