Club Meeting – 7:00 pm:  May 4: FT8, with Barry Fierman, K3EUI

License Exam Session – 5:00 pm – Go for your Amateur Radio license or try for an upgrade. Pre-register by sending a request to VETesting@PAARC.NET. Test sessions are administered by examiners accredited by the ARRL. See what to bring to exam session here: www.arrl.org/what-to-bring-to-an-exam-session. 2018 tests: 1/5, 2/2, 3/2, 4/6, 5/4, 6/1, 9/7, 10/5, 11/2, 12/7.

Fox Hunt – Sept. 23

fox with antennaThe next fox hunt will be on Saturday, Sept. 23, 2017 starting at 10:00 am. We’ll start at the Pottsgrove Middle School on 1351 N. Hanover St., Pottstown 19464 N 40 deg., 16.27 min, W 75 deg. 38.15 min. Learn more on the fox hunting webpage. Al, AG3T and Dori, K3TES will be the foxes. If anyone needs to borrow equipment contact Jim: k3chj at arrl.net. He has a log periodic antenna, passive & active attenuators, a boat anchor 2m radio with an analog s meter plus a PennDOT map. Fly-In Breakfast – Sept. 10

Join PAARC members at the Fly-in Breakfast on Sunday, Sept. 10, 2017 from 8 am to 12 noon at Heritage Field.  Admission and parking is free. If you come hungry breakfast is $8 for adults and $5 for kids (pancakes, eggs, ham, juice and coffee).  See modern and antique airplanes, warbirds, show cars and R/C models and drones.  Airplane and helicopter rides!  A great morning out for the family!  The entrance to Flyer’s Roost is located on Airport Road off Ridge Pike in Limerick, PA. For more information on the event, visit www.paop.org, or click here for the flyer. PAARC members RC, KC3HRV and his dad Paul, KC3HSQ will represent PAARC with a station.
