Pottstown Area Amateur Radio Club (PAARC) is an ARRL affiliated club with educational programs of interest to amateur radio operators on first Fridays in Limerick, PA. We offer weekly radio nets, license exams, and operating opportunities to build skills and advance the interest, knowledge, fraternalism of amateur radio in the community, and to serve the public interest and safety. PAARC operates 4 FM repeaters including C4FM analog and digital, and APRS Digi.

Dues are Due

December 4th Club Meeting

The 7:00 pm meeting presentation is experimental airplanes, with Fred - KB3YAY. Meeting location: St. James Lutheran Church, at the intersection of Swamp Pike and Kugler Rd.

New Tuesday Night Net @ 7 pm

PAARC members have started a new net on Tuesday nights at 7:00 pm at 224.020 MHz. The net control operator is Dennis - KA3RIX. All are welcome to check-in and chat.

Amateur Radio License Exam – Nov. 6th

PAARC will offer an Amateur Radio License testing session before the monthly meeting on Friday, Nov. 6, at 5:00 pm. The location for the test is the same place as the meeting; St. James Lutheran Church, 93 Kugler Rd., (intersection of Swamp Pike & Kugler Rd.)...

Fox Hunt on October 17th

Weather permitting, join us at 10:00 am at the Pottsgrove Middle School on 1351 N Hanover St., Pottstown, PA 19464 for a fall fox (transmitter) hunt. Jim, K3CHJ, will be the the fox. Find us at Pottsgrove Middle School: N40 deg., 16.27, W 75 deg. 38.15.

November 6th Club Meeting

The November meeting topic is Wilderness Survival, with Rick - KC3DPB. At this meeting we'll be asking for your nominations for PAARC officers for 2016. Then we'll vote on your choices at the Dec. 4th meeting. Please come to these meetings and let your voice be heard....
