The Pottstown Area Amateur Radio Club (PAARC) welcomes and appreciates legacy gifts from members and supporters who want to strengthen the future of amateur radio, public service communications, and community education in our area. Legacy gifts may include financial contributions, radio equipment, tools, or other assets that support the club’s mission.
These gifts help ensure PAARC can train new operators, maintain repeaters and infrastructure, and support emergency and public service communications for years. PAARC is recognized as a qualified nonprofit organization. Eligible donors may choose to make a Qualified Charitable Distribution QCD directly from an Individual Retirement Account, following IRS rules. Donors should talk to a tax advisor or financial professional to check eligibility and possible tax benefits.
Members may also name PAARC as a beneficiary when planning their estate or arrange for the donation of equipment or funds during their lifetime. We accept all legacy gifts with respect for the donor’s intent. These gifts are managed with transparency, accountability, and responsibility.
For confidential discussions about legacy giving, equipment donations, or planned gifts, members can contact the PAARC Board of Directors.
From experience, clubs thrive when members think long term. Legacy gifts help ensure that the knowledge, service, and fellowship built within PAARC continue to benefit future operators and the community we serve.
