The next PAARC foxhunt will be Saturday, October 13th at 9:30 AM. The start will be at the Pottsgrove Middle School on 1351 N. Hanover St., Pottstown 19464 N 40 deg., 16.27 min, W 75 deg. 38.15 min. Jim K3CHJ will be the fox. Come and learn about the fun radio sport of transmitter hunting.

The next PAARC foxhunt (transmitter hunt) will be this coming Saturday, Sept. 8, with a 9:00 am start. We are starting an hour earlier than past hunts. The PAARC Foxhunt is on SATURDAY August 11th at 10:00 AM – starting at Pottsgrove Middle School.
The Reading Radio Club Foxhunt is on SUNDAY August 12th (the next day) at 1:00 PM starting at the Pagoda on Mt. Penn.
Glenn, AB3TQ will be the fox for both hunts. Even if you don’t have any equipment suitable for Foxhunting, just show up with your curiosity at either or both starting points. You will be given a thorough introduction to this Direction Finding Transmitter Locating activity. No Amateur License required for the hunters (you will not be Transmitting). Frequencies made available at the starting points.

Event cancelled due to bad weather.
Meet at 1:00 pm at the Reading Pagoda (98 Duryea Dr, Reading, PA) parking lot. Hunters will point their antennas toward the direction which gives the strongest signal and then drive toward that location. Upon finding the hidden transmitter, the hunters will discover multiple low power signals from other foxes waiting to be discovered. Ron K3RJW will provide the frequency of the fox(es).
