The November meeting topic is Wilderness Survival, with Rick – KC3DPB.
At this meeting we’ll be asking for your nominations for PAARC officers for 2016. Then we’ll vote on your choices at the Dec. 4th meeting. Please come to these meetings and let your voice be heard. As always, we welcome the participation of our members in all facets of club life.
It’s time to renew your membership for 2016. Please see Nate (N2ADD) to pay your club dues: $25 for individuals, $5 for additional family members, $10 for students, $5 for associate members.

Oct 15, 2015 | License Exams
PAARC will offer an Amateur Radio License testing session before the monthly meeting on Friday, Nov. 6, at 5:00 pm. The location for the test is the same place as the meeting; St. James Lutheran Church, 93 Kugler Rd., (intersection of Swamp Pike & Kugler Rd.) Limerick, PA 19468. You may pre-register for the test by sending an email request to VETesting@PAARC.NET.
What to Bring to an Exam Session
– Two forms of ID, or 1 photo ID
– Test fee of $15.00
– If upgrading, your current license and a copy (we cannot make copies at the session), and any current valid CSCE’s (original and one copy)
– Two or more pencils
– Calculator, if desired
All test sessions administered by examiners accredited by The American Radio Relay League, Inc.

Repeater Shed Update
Ed – N3WXW, and Tom – K3TWL, have determined what materials are need to repair the repeater shed which has suffered from years of water incursion and wood rot. https://www.paarc.net/wp-admin/edit.php
The shed needs a new roof and much more so that it can continue to shelter the expensive radio equipment inside. A work crew is being put together and will tackle the shed repairs as a labor of love. The materials for the repairs are estimated at approximately $1,000.00.
We need the financial support of our members to cover this expense. Please donate to the Repeater Shed Repair Fund today. Repairs will begin soon.
