Members are welcome to join us at 7:00 pm on Friday, Oct. 1st for our first in-person gathering since the pandemic began. We will return to St. James Lutheran Church in Limerick. There is no presenter scheduled, but there will be hotdogs and Ed K3BVQ’s famous beans!
As always, if you have a build-and-tell item please bring it to show off.
Montgomery County is listed as a high transmission county for the Delta variant — case counts continue to grow. The church follows state and CDC guidance for COVID-19, and the CDC now recommends that everyone mask up when indoors. So please wear a mask to keep yourself and others safe! The club will have masks available at the door if you need one.

At the November 1, 2019 meeting we held nominations for the 2020 PAARC Board of Directors. The following members were nominated for positions, and since they were the only nominations, they accepted these positions on the board for next year:
2020 Officers with one year terms:
President – Wes Hammerschmidt, N3HWH
Vice-President – Ed Leshinskie, K3BVQ
Treasurer – Nate Rosenthal, N2ADD
Secretary – Melody Bowers, KB3SJR
Executive Board Member Elected to a 3 year term ending Dec. 2022:
Jay Moyer, K3JY (finishing a term in 2019, and re-elected)
2020 Board Members who continue to serve their terms:

PAARC 2016 Member Night Awards
Six club members were recognized for their outstanding contributions to the Pottstown Area Amateur Radio Club (PAARC) at their Dec. 2nd meeting in Limerick, PA.
– Jim Steiner, W3BWD, was honored for his service as a founding member of the Pottstown Area Repeater Team, the precursor to PAARC. Jim housed the 2M repeater at his home for eighteen years, and has been a contributing member for over four decades.
