Rig is a Icom 706 MKIIG, MFJ 969 tuner, and CDE rotator.  APRS equipment on left Icom 2400 and KPC3. Notice no key. Antennas - 2M 12 element horizontal beam on Glen Martin Roof Tower with a CDE Ham IV Rotator.& HF-inverted  "L", long wire antenna (175 feet)  and Comet GP-5

 N4XU

Equipment in the N4XU current shack consists of:
Yaesu FT-1000MP MK5, Yaesu FT-897D, Kenwood TM-3530 (220 MHZ),
Ten Tec 238 Antenna Tuner, AEA MorseMachine CW Keyer, Brown Brothers
BTL-A Paddle, Shurr Profi Paddle, Vibroplex Brass Racer Paddle (can you
tell I love CW??). Antennas are W9INN 3-band dipole, 260-ft OCF Windom, 40-Meter
Cushcraft D40 Rotatable Dipole, Cushcraft R-7000 Vertical, an old TET HB-35
Tri-Band Yagi, Comet Tri-Band Vertical at 65-ft. for VHF/UHF. Currently waiting
to go up on the tower is a Hy-Gain Explorer 14 for 10-15-20 meters, which will
replace the TET. And of course, the mandatory computer stuff.

Plus the usual assortment of microphones, speakers, swr/watt meters, antenna
analyzer, etc.

K3DBD, continually licensed since 1957. HF equipment is an ICOM IC-746
PRO, Dentron MLA-2500 amplifier, Dentron MT3000A tuner and Kenwood
SM-220 station monitor.  On VHF/UHF a Kenwood TM-621A, ICOM IC-207,
Kenwood TM-261and on APRS a Kenwood TM-221 with an AEA PK-12 TNC.  Also
several scanners and lots of test equipment.  Out back is a Universal 455
foot aluminum tower with a variety of antennas.

K3CHJ 1960

Equipment – National NC 173 Receiver and Heathkit DX 100B Transmitter, RME DB23A Preselector, Heathkit VTVM and 100 watt incandescent light bulb dummy load.  Antennas were 40 & 80 meter dipoles and a 3 Element 10 meter Beam.



K3CHJ – 2009

Equipment – IC-746 Pro, Kenwood TL 922 HFLinear, Heathkit SB 220 HF Linear, Kenwood TM 701A 2m/440 (also used for fox hunts), Vibroplex Presentation Model Bug (used only to tune up).  Antennas are 40 & 80 meter dipoles, Mosely Classic 36 triband beam, 11 element 2m beam & a 2m Ringo Ranger.  I had a Diamond X-50 2m/440 vertical on top of my 50 ft. tower which was completely vaporized by 2nd direct lightning hit (previous X-50 was only partially vaporized by original direct hit).
