Our presenter will be Ron Medykiewicz, WA3VEE, and his presentation will be an overview of Meltymeters and the Silly Scopes (sometimes known as multimeters and oscilloscopes)! There will be minimal slide whipping and a lot of hands-on practical stuff!

– Tips, techniques, and safety precautions
On oscilloscopes (visual voltmeters)
– Why use an oscilloscope
– The three main settings on a scope – it’s easy!
– Things to measure with an oscilloscope
– Safety tips, hints, and techniques!

The evening will feature an updated presentation on Drones with our club expert on the topic, Walt Skavinsky, KB3SBC. Come learn about these fascinating remote controlled robots — how they work, applications, and their future. All are welcome, no ham license necessary. Refreshments served.
There will not be a license exam session prior to this meeting. The next scheduled exam is Feb. 2 at 5:00 pm.
Join us on Friday, Dec. 1, 2023 at 7:00 pm at Saint James Lutheran Church for the PAARC monthly meeting. It is Member Night, and members are welcome to present 5-10 minute talks about their radio equipment, projects, or share their knowledge about another hobby, trip or other experience. Come share your knowledge with us. Seasonal holiday refreshments will be served.
At the Dec. meeting we will also have an election for the contested position for the 2024 PAARC President. The nominees are Wes Hammerschmidt, N3HWH; and Walt Skavinsky, KB3SBC. The election will be administered using anonymous, paper ballots. You must be a current member to vote.

Join us on Friday, September 1st for the monthly club meeting at 7:00 pm. We’ll meet in the fellowship hall of St. James Lutheran Church, 93 Kugler Rd., Limerick, PA. Come hungry for food and fun. We’ll serve hot dogs, Ed’s beans, potato salad, fresh fruit, and treats. Members are welcome to speak about their summer projects and purchases, operating experiences, and POTA adventures.
