Membership Dues for 2024

It’s time to renew your PAARC membership for 2024. Annual dues renewal is $25, and associate family membership is $5. Student membership is $10. Dues payments will be accepted at meetings, and existing members may renew online.
Note: Prospective members MUST fill out a Membership form and mail in payment. See the Membership page for the editable PDF mail-in form and address to send it to.

2024 PAARC Board Nominations and Dec. 1 Election

At the Nov. 3, 2023 PAARC monthly meeting we held nominations for the Pottstown Area amateur Radio Club (PARC) Board of Directors. Here are the results: 

2024 PAARC Board Nominations
During our nomination procedure, two people were nominated for President. PAARC members will vote for their choice via paper ballot at the Dec. 1st meeting, or they may also vote by email by writing to secretary at park dot net.  Be sure to include your name and callsign. You will receive a return email acknowledgement of your vote. 

President Nominees

– Walt Skavinsky, KB3SBC (current VP)

The following 2024 Board nominations were uncontested and will be filled as follows:

– Vice-President: Glenn Nestor, WA3LAB

– Board Member: Steve Sobota, Jr., K3ALV

Member Dues are Due

Our membership year is the calendar year so your renewal dues are due and payable by Jan 1, 2020. See our Treasurer, Nate, N2ADD to make a payment at a monthly meeting, or use any of the following payment methods:

  •     Pay In person at a meeting. Cash, check or money order in the amount of $25. Family member dues are $5. Correct change appreciated but we can make change if necessary. Please, nothing larger than a $50 bill. Membership cards issued on request. Please provide any updates to your mailing address, email address, license class, call sign, or telephone number. 
  •     By mail to the club PO Box 1485, Pottstown, PA 19464. If you want a membership card mailed to you, include a SASE or you can pick one up at a meeting. Please provide any updates to your mailing address, email address, license class, call sign, or phone number.
  •  RENEWALS ONLYRenew via PayPal. The amount is $26.25 – the extra $1.25 covers their fees. Please include your name and call. If you want a membership card, pick it up at a meeting.

PAARC Nominates and Elects 2020 Board of Directors

At the November 1, 2019 meeting we held nominations for the 2020 PAARC Board of Directors. The following members were nominated for positions, and since they were the only nominations, they accepted these positions on the board for next year:

2020 Officers with one year terms:
President – Wes Hammerschmidt,  N3HWH
Vice-President – Ed Leshinskie, K3BVQ
Treasurer – Nate Rosenthal, N2ADD
Secretary – Melody Bowers, KB3SJR

Executive Board Member Elected to a 3 year term ending Dec. 2022:
Jay Moyer, K3JY (finishing a term in 2019, and re-elected)
