IRLP Node Information:
Operating Guide for K3ZMC IRLP Node 4317
443.550 MHz - 131.8 Hz tone required
The IRLP node is open for use by any licensed
Amateur Radio Operator within its coverage area.
How To Access The Repeater IRLP Link System
1. Say your callsign and state "This is (your callsign) for the IRLP"
2. Then send the touch tones you need to connect where you want to go to.
3. Now wait at least 10 to 15 seconds to hear if there is a QSO in progress
if not then,
4. Key your microphone and leave at least 3 seconds before you start to
talking.
5. Give your call sign in Phonetics and say listening.
6. DO NOT CALL CQ, remember your on a repeater not HF.
7. Now LISTEN, LISTEN, LISTEN!!
8. After the other party on the link unkeys, wait at least 10 to
15 seconds before you key
your transceiver to answer. Pause - Pause
9. After the QSO, wait for at least 30 Seconds to see if anyone else wants
to talk.
10. Then enter the code to bring down the link.
11. Then give your callsign, and say that you are clear the IRLP.
